Power of the savior
Holy week fasting should extend to night time and the food for the whole
week only bread, salt and water.
Events for Monday: Jesus teaching in the Temple.

Jesus going to Jerusalem.

Cursing the fig tree that claimed false fruit

Evacuate the temple from people who claim ethical and religious identity
and from monetary gains. Then He started teaching and making miracles which
raised the envy of the head priests. They set to kill him
Church law prohibits Holy Mass celebrations Monday, Tuesday, and
Wednesday
from lent for the following reasons:

God did not present the Thanks Giving
sacrament yet.

Jesus is our
Passover and he did not give Himself yet.
-
The Mass sacrifice is the same Cross sacrifice and Jesus gave Himself only
Friday

The
Passover lamb
who is Jesus symbol was kept for 3 days and then is killed the night of the
14th day.

Praying a
Divine Liturgy on Thursday because our Master established in it the
sacrament of
Thanks Giving and gave us a new Testament, His Holy Body and Blood for the
eternal Glory.

أسبوع الآلام يجب أن يصام
إلى الليل وأن يكون أكل أسبوع الآلام خبزاً وملحاً وماءً فقط.

نهت الكنيسة عن إقامة
القداسات أيام الإثنين والثلاثاء والأربعاء من أسبوع البصخة للأسباب الآتية:

إن الرب لم يكن قد رسم سر الشكر بعد.
-
يسوع هو فصحنا ولم يكن قد قدم نفسه بعد .
-
إن ذبيحة القداس هى بعينها ذبيحة الصليب ويسوع لم يقدم ذاته إلا يوم الجمعة .
-
إن خروف الفصح الذى هو رمزاً للمسيح كان يبقى تحت الحفظ بغير ذبح فى هذه
الأيام الثلاثة، ثم يذبح فى مساء اليوم الرابع عشر.
-
أما إقامة القداس يوم الخميس فلأن السيد أسس فيه سر الشكر وأعطانا عهداً
جديداً ، جسده ودمه الأقدسين عربوناً للمجد الأبدى .
