Silence is more effective than words and more
beneficial and useful, or at the very least it may be less harmful than to
speak... In silence there may be wisdom and strength, there may be nobility
and dignity. |
We need this
power... |

And they call
some of these people "retarded"... A few years ago, at the Seattle Special
Olympics, nine contestants, all physically or mentally disabled, assembled
at the starting line for the 100-yard dash. At the gun, they all started
out, not exactly in a dash, but with a relish to run the race to the finish
and win. |

Have you ever been just sitting there and all of a sudden you
feel like doing something nice for someone you care for. . . THAT'S GOD. ..
. He talks to you through the Holy Spirit. Have you ever been down and out and nobody seems to be around for you to talk to. . . THAT'S GOD .. . He wants you to talk to Him. Have you ever been thinking about somebody that you haven't seen in a long time and then next thing you know you see them or receive a phone call from them. . THAT'S GOD ... there is no such thing as coincidence. Have you ever received something wonderful that you didn't even ask for, like money in the mail, a debt that had mysteriously been cleared, or a coupon to a department store where you had just seen something you wanted, but couldn't afford. . . THAT'S GOD. . He knows the desires of your heart. . Have you ever been in a situation and you had no clue how it is going to get better, but now you look back on it. . . THAT'S GOD. . He passes us through tribulation to see a brighter day. . . DO YOU THINK THAT THIS E-MAIL WAS ACCIDENTALLY SENT TO YOU? NOPE! I was thinking of You! In all that we do, we should totally give HIM thanks and our blessings will continue to multiply. NOW THAT'S GOD!!!!!!!! Don't tell GOD how big your storm is. Tell the storm how big your GOD is!!! |

How
many times in a day do we lose our temper, snap at those we love, ignore
those we work with, go to school with, interact with each day? |
Grace and peace
to all. Please read the following carefully, it has deeply touched my heart
and hope it does the same for you. |

"Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not the Father; But he that
acknowledges the Son has the Father also" (First John 2: 22-23) |
A bit long, but
I think worth reading, God Bless |
WHAT IF I'D BEEN JONAH? Lord! You're not sending me there! Yes, to Nineveh. But Lord, they're heathen! They are, indeed. They don't know their right hand from their left! That's why they need Me. What if I don't go? You'll go. (Jonah 1-4) The Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind (Daniel 4:17) WHAT IF I'D BEEN PHILIP? But Lord, there're only five loaves and ... I know, and two small fish. Bring them to Me. But Lord, there are 5,000 men besides women and children ... Make them sit on the grass. But Lord, this kid's mother didn't pack enough for an army! Let's pray. But Lord... Start handing out the fish. Here, Andrew you pass the bread. Thomas, these baskets are for the left overs. (John 6:5-11) Is anything too hard for the Lord? (Genesis 18:14) IF I'D BEEN PETER? Lord, did You say seventy times seven? Yes, seventy times seven. That's four hundred and ninety times! You're good at math. But Lord, I'll lose count. That's the idea. (Matthew 18:21,22) If you should keep record of iniquities, Lord, who could stand? (Psalms 130:5). WHAT IF I'D BEEN ONE OF THE DISCIPLES? You want what, Lord? The donkey colt. I'm ready for it. Oh. A donkey colt. No, THE donkey colt - the one Isaiah wrote about... But Lord, an unbroke colt might throw You... Isaiah didn't mention that. (Isaiah 62:11, Matthew 21:1-10) Isaiah saw His glory and spoke of Him (John 12:41). WHAT IF I'D BEEN AT THE LAST SUPPER? Lord, what are You doing with that basin and towel? I'm going to wash your feet. My feet? Yes, your and John's and Peter's and ... But Lord, YOU'RE the Son of God! That's why I'm doing it. I'll start with you, Judas. here, Friend, let me untie your sandal (John 13) The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve (Matthew 20:28). WHAT IF I'D BEEN AT GETHSEMANE? Lord, they can't do this to You. I'll fight... I'll... Put down your weapon. But Lord, You can't just let them take Your life... They won't take My life. I'll lay it down of my own accord. Like a lamb to the slaughter? - without a word? Yes, Child. But why? Because it's either Me or you. (Isaiah 53:7, John 18:11) He gave himself for us that He might redeem us (Titus 2:14). |
